    • Steve I don’t see where to comment on your posts, so I will write to you from here. I hope you and your wife have a fabulous vacation…I live on the East coast…Weather’s been beautiful…enjoy!!!

    • Hi Deb! I write this blog under some direction from the elders of my church. They felt uneasy about open comments due to the possibility of some false doctrine or rude comments slipping through.

So most of my newer posts don’t have a comments section. I do read and reply to many readers, and there is when you may say or ask anything you’d like…

And thanks for the weather updates, and well wishes! My wife and I will be flying out to Pa. in the morning…

      Steve 🙂

Life is so different even when comparing the West coast with the East coast! I really loved the rural areas of Pa.!!

    • I’ve been up and down the East Coast, the farthest West I’ve been is Cincinnati…but this country has such amazing places throughout. I’d love to see the Grand Canyon, the Rocky Mountains, Yosemite National Part so on and so on…Did you see the Amish Country, that is beautiful and it’s fascinating that today people still live without the modern conveniences and comforts…like indoor plumbing. I could not do it!

    • The True Light!

Well, we had planned on the Amish country, but just too many things to go and see that we had to pass on that. We did see Gettysburg and took the battlefield tour. Also went to NYC and saw the Empire State building and took the Hudson River tour.

We were being pushed around by a heavy rain storm and the beginnings of hurricane Joaquin. Soaked to the skin in Washington and Baltimore. But we managed to have a very nice time.

Yes, you’d enjoy all the West coast attractions you mentioned above. Oh, and BTW, I could never live with no indoor plumbing either! Steve

    • I’ve been to the Hershey plant…I never pass up chocolate!!! 😉 My friend reps a clothing line on QVC so I’ve been to West Chester, near Philly too…I have not been to the western part of the State…but what I’ve seen is really beautiful too…

Yes it is! Country roads with children awaiting the school bus in their front yards. Two lane roads winding through a countryside. Houses on small hills with no fences around them…

And it’s so green with so many trees. I just loved it because it’s the exact opposite of Southern Cali…
