  1. Life does have a lot of detours doesn’t it? Might as well enjoy them and be grateful for them! 😀

  2. I love this one so much! Today I’d be grateful if the Lord would help straighten out the mess I’ve been entangled in with my “ex” and daughter. It’s been 15 years of fighting and I admit I made mistakes but it seems I’m the only one who tries to find a way to put the past away. They only hush time is when my money comes out!

Too long a story, too much time lost!!

    • I’m sorry to hear that. I don’t know why but women beat things to death, it’s in our genes. Men are so much simpler, that’s a good thing. Rather than argue try saying Apparently I’ve misunderstood you, I’m sorry. I’m turning a new page to do better, maybe you’d like to join me. Daughters need their Dad but they want to see them be nice to their mother too. Every day is a new day to try again, forget the past it’s exactly that and cannot be changed, but what you do now can change your future. Good luck!!

    • Thanks for the advice Deb, it will probably work with anyone except these two! I’ve tried everything in the book in 15 years, but silence is golden where I am concerned! And the only thing which ever quiets them is my money. It’s sad but that “gravy train” is coming to an end!

I agree with you, men are much easier to deal with things. I mean look, it’s been 15 years and they are more upset now then when we first split up!

I see no way out of this situation except just to try to keep it as quiet as possible. Soon the daughter will be 21 and hopefully will find other interests that to beat her father up! I pray for them both all the time but to no avail…yet at least.
