    • Hey Deb…hope you had a great Christmas! (Hope you stayed off the “naughty” list!) Any plans for the new year? I don’t have anything definite for myself yet. I gave up on New Year’s resolutions, at least for the most part.

    • Thank you I did have a great Christmas…well apparently I wasn’t that naughty cuz Santa still brought me presents ;-)..I stay in for New Year’s and watch the ball drop!! I have to stay up for the count down…I don’t go out anymore too many drunk drivers on the road…besides I love being home! Well whatever you decide to do Happy New Year!! πŸ™‚ Hope it’s fun!!!

    • I’m right there with you on the whole staying home thing for New Years. I have a step son-in-law who is a police officer and I wouldn’t want to see some of the things he sees almost every year! I just wait for the ball to drop too, or doze off a bit, whichever comes first…

And I can’t believe you’d be so “naughty” as to lose your Christmas gifts…Lol!!

    • I would not want to see what your step son-in-law sees either…yikes! The ball is in it’s final prep stages…and I have my moments…Lol!! πŸ˜‰

    • Well, we all have our shinning moments, stunning moments, dull moments, forgettable moments, and those moments we wish would end…and some which would never end!

Do you watch the ball every year? I try to make it to that moment, but I have to admit that some of the musical entertainment really looses me! I don’t know any songs any more…Lol!

    • I don’t watch the musical shows, not too crazy about the music myself. So I’ll watch a movie or something else but at midnight switch it over to watch the ball drop, yes I watch it every year, I think I can count on one hand the number of times I’ve missed it. My sister went to times square to see it in person one year..there’s no way I could do that, too cold, too many people, and I couldn’t stand around that long. I also watch the fireworks afterwards if there are any on tv.

    • That sounds a lot like me. I wouldn’t even want to go to a place like times square for the New Year. They say they expect about a million people there…way too many for me! I’m not much on huge crowds, even at parties and such.

I like the comforts of home on the holidays, especially Christmas and New Years.

    • Wow…too many people for me too! I’m definitely a home-body myself…

    • The True Light!

Yep, you and me both. I mean I like to get out from time to time for things, but they don’t have to be big spectacular things. Day trips are good enough for me…

Home is just fine for me too.

    • Some people are travelers while others are homebodies….I’ll vicariously thru the travelers.. πŸ™‚ My sister is a traveler and my brother to some extent, but not me.

    • The True Light!

Me neither. As I’ve said, some day trips are fine for me, but to get up and go somewhere for a week or two most often doesn’t “flip my switch!” Lol…

  3. Deb! You are Incredible!
I did not think it would come so fast as your Post and as a Gratitude.
You have acted as you said but that too during Christmas Eve!!!! ?????
My younger daughter has come today for Christmas holidays and I showed her this post, she is astonished and feeling proud.
Here in India people are celebrating Christmas everywhere and its a celebration.
They are preparing to go to the Church for the Mid -Night mass.
I shall tell you how I felt on the Christmas Eve.
Today I am Grateful to YOU. πŸ™‚
