~ 2016 Year of the Change, Step 3 ~

Get Focused – What is Your Gift?

day3We were all given a gift from God, what is yours?  Find what your gift is and do it well.  Make the time to develop your gift or talent.  Stop waiting for the perfect time, that time is now.  Don’t let yourself intimidate you, dare to take the necessary steps.  Have faith, be bold, dream big and don’t be afraid, “use well what God has given you and you will be given more”.

We each have our own unique gifts and talents to share and we must share them with the world.   Your gift is your own, no one else has your gift nor do you have anyone elses.  Cultivate your gift, nurture it and God will guide you along your journey as long as you are faithful to yourself and invest in you.  Appreciate and value your gift, no matter how small you may think your gift/talent is and start using it today and every day going forward.  You are a phenomenal person and you can do this!

On Page 3 of your journal make a list of what changes your goal(s) will bring you.  What is the essence of your goal?  How will it make you feel?  Will you become more of yourself?  Your list can be of physical things, emotional things, spiritual things, of the senses – sight, sound, touch, smell, etc.

Sincerely give thought to you and your gift and honor yourself as you think about and list what your goal(s) means to you and what you expect from it.

I’ll give you some time with this before we continue our journey to achieving our goals.

  1. Nurture your craft and have faith. This is the most important message and I’m glad to read this post this morning (winter holidays come to end and this Monday calls for new and fresh resolutions) (:

    • I shall! I’m currently using Louise Hays books – I have a tickly cough which can be linked to stifled creativity! So I am using affirmations and creating time for writing again to unblock this xx

    • I think Louise Hay is where I started with all of this…you can listen to her on Youtube also, that’s what I did…she’s so inspiring, I’m sure she will soothe your cough and I look forward to reading the results!! xo

    • She’s wonderful isn’t she? I read her years ago and am returning to her teachings (along with Deepak Chopra) who’s another favourite of mine ❤️ xx
