~ Quote of the Day Challenge ~

Thank you Rob from The V-pub for choosing me to participate in the Quote of the Day Challenge.  Please visit Rob’s site, Rob is an extremely talented writer, singer, songwriter and that’s just the beginning.  I am new to Rob’s site but each post I read makes me want to read another and I do!  I find his “header” home page a marvel and could spend hours sorting through all that is there.  Rob is one blogger you do not want to pass by….so go, go visit now..what are you waiting for…oh my quote of course…then go!!  🙂

The rules for this challenge are as follows:

1  –  Thank the blogger that nominated you.
2 – Share one new quote on three consecutive days on your blog. They can be from anywhere, anyone, or anything.
3 – On each of the three days, nominate three more bloggers to carry on with the fun! No pressure; nominees are free to decline.

I’m taking a cue from Rob, but rather than movies, I will post quotes from songs.  Whenever I hear this song, I stop whatever I am doing, listen and sing along.  I find this song so intriguingly, hauntingly, beautiful, the music and the words always captivate me.  The song is “A Thousand Years” by Christina Perri, from The Twilight Saga -Breaking Dawn.

I have died every day waiting for you
Darling, don’t be afraid I have loved you
For a thousand years
I’ll love you for a thousand more

And all along I believed I would find you
Time has brought your heart to me
I have loved you for a thousand years
I’ll love you for a thousand more

My nominees for the first day are:
Priceless Joy of Beautiful Words
Kally of Middle Me
Yinglan of This is Another Story
There is no obligation to join in.  If you choose to, the rules are up above.  See where it takes you…
Deb

    • Are you familiar with the movie “Twilight” there were actually two sequels to it as well. It’s a take on modern day vampires, it was quite popular. The first movie came out several years ago, I have yet to watch any of them completely, (hmm maybe I will tomorrow) well this was the theme song to that movie. I just love it so much, it always draws me in when I hear it! I wasn’t sure if doing a song would be ok but then I thought why not…thank you!!
