  2. This is so CUTE! I guess I’m not too creative either. LOL! Well, sometimes I am creative. 😀 😀 Adorable quote, Deb! I hope you have a wonderful day at work and they don’t work you too hard. ((HUGS!!)) xoxoxox

    • I’m extremely organized..so I have an organized mess!! HA! Thanks PJ…I hope you don’t have a pile of snow sitting outside and if you do, look at the way the sun reflects off of it and let that inspire you! ((HUGS!)) xo

    • We don’t have a pile of snow, only about 1″ or a little less. Hopefully, the sun will shine today and melt it. LOL! Freshly fallen snow is so beautiful when the sun reflects off of it!

    • It’s much better now that my assistant is back! Sorry I had stepped away for a few minutes, I thought I could hear a baby crying, it was actually a couple of cats apparently one cat is not happy about another cat being around so he was being very vocal about it. I know you have a dog do you have a cat…hence your profile picture?

    • I had a solid white cat but she was stolen from me about 2 1/2 years ago. I searched everywhere for her, with no luck. I really loved her too and I miss her a lot. I am 99% sure I know who took her but I can’t prove it, or do anything about it.

I have a few cats that have vocal arguments close to my home too. I feed some of the stray/ferrel cats because I know, in the winter it is hard for them to find food. I would rather do that than have them come in through my doggie door and look for food in my home. (In the past I have had to capture one that was doing that). My cat, Sassy, came running into my room one morning to let me know I had captured a cat in the cat trap during the night. LOL! She was beside herself! It was so funny!! (Dang, I miss her!)

    • Oh I’m so sorry to hear that, and sorry to have dredged up a bad memory. Is your profile Sassy or just a picture similar to her? They are my neighbors cats and their names are Franks and Beans, isn’t that funny. One is totally black and the other is gray, white & black. There is a gray cat that comes around and Franks (the multi-colored cat) is not happy about it. Apparently they have gotten into cat fights, I was talking with my neighbor thru the window. Hmmm never even thought about a cat coming thru a doggie door but why not…that’s funny.

    • Franks and Beans is cute! No, the picture isn’t one of Sassy, it is a picture of another kitten that looks similar to Sassy – which is why I use it. She looks so much like Sassy did at that age. Looking at it every day is comforting for me. That may sound strange, but it really is. I know that if Sassy could, she would come home because she really loved me.

    • 😦 I don’t think it sounds strange at all, I have a picture of my dog, Barney, who has passed on my night stand. It a very becoming picture, he’s laying on the couch, on his back with his legs spread wide open…it makes me smile and I talk to him everyday…so I totally get it! xo

    • Was Barney a particular breed of dog? My dog, Princeton, was so funny. I use to take my finger and shoot him and he would fall to his back and stick all four of his legs up in the air. Hahaha! He was so proud of himself for doing that! LOL! I miss him.

    • LOL that’s a riot! Barney was a rescue dog and he was part collie, part shepherd, part beagle, part hound…he was the best dog!!

      Like

    • Well of course he was, he has a little of all the best breeds! 🙂 🙂 I think rescued dogs are the best because they know you have rescued them and they are appreciative. I rescued Princeton from the Animal Shelter. Poor guy was so sick with an upper respiratory infection, that I had to take him to the vet immediately and they hooked him up to an IV and kept him overnight. He was the best dog!!

    • We were lucky!! We I retire I am going to get another dog, but I want to wait til I am home all day to be with them! Another reason I look forward to retiring…

    • I completely understand. It is hard to have to leave them alone all day long while you are at work.

    • Yeah, especially if I were to get a puppy as they need to be fed 3 times a day in the beginning and I wouldn’t have time to come home and get back to work. Oh well…one day!

      Like

    • Yes, you will get one one day. You don’t want to wish your life away, because retirement will come soon enough! LOL!

    • I know I don’t want to wish my life away, my mother used to always say that to me as I always wanted to be older than I was, but retirement needs to come soon, I want to stay home and rest and enjoy the day and do whatever I please when I please…I’m prefer not to work anymore!

    • Thanks, me too! I’m working on it. I’ve been so busy with work I haven’t been able to work on my “Goals” post. I’m hoping to continue that real soon.

    • I was telling you about the problem I had with getting spam mail regarding Apple, well I got another one tonight. That tells me it is possibly someone that is reading your comments.

    • I got one today too, I forget what it was about but it was selling something…I just deleted it. Hmmm interesting. It seems ever since my blog went to .com thru Go Daddy that’s when the spam increased, but that’s because my site is now open to the public much more readily than thru wordpress.com

    • I’m not a member of GoDaddy, in fact, I don’t even know what that is.

    • Go Daddy is where you buy your domain name, like http://www.PricelessJoy.com I bought http://www.onceuponahotflash.com, rather than before when it was http://www.onceuponahotflash.wordpress.com, most people don’t know to type in wordpress.com, if they were looking for my site.

    • That was a smart thing to do! I tried to get mine as a .com but it had already been taken so I took the .co

  3. I tend to think of a mess as ordered chaos. 😀

  4. Hahahaha. That is how I feel right now. I am just relaxing here instead of tidying up my house, which is essentially what I have been doing bit by bit. Maybe I will read a book today and appreciate the mess.
