OUR DAILY GRATEFUL POST!

TODAY I AM GRATEFUL FOR CARDINALS!!!

cardinal

I saw a Cardinal in my back yard yesterday and while I knew they were symbolic, I wasn’t sure of what, so I looked it up.

I found the above quote, plus ~ “As the cardinal red color is symbolic of faith, so it can remind us to “keep the faith” though circumstances might look bleak, dark and hopeless”. (From The Cardinal Experience)

what are you grateful for ~ please share…

Thank you!

  1. That is wonderful you saw a cardinal in your yard. We don’t get cardinals here. So I have to say, in this area, seeing hummingbirds is a little piece of heaven. I LOVE hummingbirds! I have a lot of feeders in the summer and they hang around my house a lot. Good morning, Deb! I hope you have a fantastic day today! Today is my BD! Haha! ((HUGS!!)) xoxoxoxo

  2. Whoa! That means I got a bunch of heavenly visitors in my back yard. Well, that’s all right. I’m thankful as ever…Cody is too, even though he’ll run after them if they get a mite too close! Then he comes back and plops down on the porch floor, I go back to my book, and the red birds fly back to yard. It’s wonderful! Thank you.

  3. I have to tell you, on my mom’s birthday the year after she passed away, I was sitting in my sister’s sunroom with her and a male and female.cardinal flew over to the fence right across from us and stayed there quite awhile. I told my sister the story of cardinals and to this day we are sure it was mom and dad showing us they’d found each other again!

  4. Since it’s about birds, I’m grateful for the bird chirps in the morning. They made a new day perfect!

  5. That would have been fine if the visitor could have taken our message to heaven back.
In that case I would have sent so many messages.
There is one bird here in India which is considered as lucky when we see it, the name of it in English I don’t know, it is called as “Ratna Pakshi”
Oh! I got it, Its called as Greater Coucal:

  7. I love seeing cardinals in my yard. A dear cousin who was most like a sister to me took her life last May. Every time I see a cardinal, I think of her. I always look for signs and talk to her.
