  1. Today I am grateful for the love of my family and friends, my part time job that allows me to write, pay the bills, meet new people, learn new skills…
I am also thankful that the weather is at last improving after a VERY long winter!

    • Thank you Deb! I have been fighting depression. It has kind of creeped up on me and I have lost interest in just about everything. I’m trying to pull myself out of it. Just thought I would let you know.

    • Oh PJ I’m so sorry to hear that. If you get Youtube on your Ipad search and listen to Joel Osteen, even if you think you don’t like him, give him a try. He makes you feel better. Also listen to music, read a book, go for walks if you can, let yourself have a day where you cry all day but promise yourself that it’s only for the day. I believe everything goes in cycles, in your just in a down cycle right now. It’s okay we all go there. Can you pinpoint what it is that is depressing you?

    • Thanks for the advice. I really don’t feel like crying though. I can pinpoint it but I won’t talk about it over WordPress.

Oh boy I’m just the opposite, maybe it’s due to menopause, but I cry at the drop of a hat…I’d cry because the hat dropped!!
Please know I’m here and I will include you in my prayers. xoxo

    • Also, I am sorry to hear that you are having to experience so much emotional turmoil with your menopause. Hopefully, that won’t last very long. I use to have that and I know how horrible it is.

    • OMG!!! I can’t wait til it’s over…it’s been like this for a couple of years now…I have anxiety attacks mostly related to work…if I could only quit!!! Thank you PJ, that’s very kind of you. xo

    • Gosh Deb, that sounds like an awful place to work! I hate it that you have anxiety attacks because of your job! I hope you can quit soon too!!

    • It’s so complicated. I have too many responsibilities, the person I hired to help me has been out with health issues an unbelievable amount of time, thus being not much help. Will probably have to let her go and hire someone else, I don’t want to have to train someone new but don’t really have a choice. In September we get really busy and I stay that way until about now…
I’m already anxious about the Fall…I’ve been watching for jobs but there hasn’t been anything yet, so I try to keep my chin up and I’ve been doing a lot of talking with God to help me through this to the other side. It has to get better and I trust in God that it will…but for now. UGH!

    • if your helper has been out so much with health issues then you need to hire someone that can be there to help you and take that load off your back. Is there any chance she is wanting you to quit so she can take over your job? It’s a pain to train someone else but it sure will be worth it in the long run.

    • I agree with you, and I’m almost ready to throw in the towel with her, but she’s a great worker…when she’s there…and she can’t help having issues but it puts me in a tough situation. She definitely doesn’t want my job nor could she do it, she doesn’t know enough. I need to make a decision soon though so that I can get someone trained before we’re too busy, if that’s how I plan to go.

    • You have a big heart Deb and it can be to your detriment. If she has health issues then she needs to take care of them rather than trying to deal with them and try and work too. But I know you know what is best and will make the best decision.

    • Thanks PJ! And you’re right. She’s having a test done on Friday and she had alot of blood drawn today to figure out what’s going on with her…so maybe we can get some answers next week and decided how to move forward that is best for all of us! Thanks!! xo
