    • Thank you, I hardly ever remember them. Do you remember your dreams?

      Like

    • Most of the time I don’t remember them. Sometimes I wake up in the middle of a dream and I will remember that for awhile, until I forget about it. Once I forget about it then I have completely forgotten it. So, the short is answer is no. No, I don’t usually remember my dreams.

    • LOL!! They say if you start writing them down as soon as you wake up you will start remembering them.

    • Ya I’ve heard that too, but I’d need my glasses, a flashlight, a book, a pen, I’d probably have to go pee first…and by then I’d be wide awake and wouldn’t get back to sleep for hours…guess I’ll just forget them! HA!

    • Pardon me for jumping in. I thought id contribute. I have many, many little sheets of paper, strips of paper, scribbled notes of my dreams. If I remember them, I either write them down or type them away quickly in my phone and transfer to paper when I am fully awake. They are usually illegible. I have dozens of little notes of my dreams. My high school psychology teacher once made is begin a dream journal. I still have it. From 1999, I have snippets of my dreams. And now I have added to that little book by writing my dreams on little pieces of paper or whatever is near me as I am awaking out of my slumber. It’s so fun and interesting to read them. Y’all should try it…

    • Hi Gretch, thanks for jumping in. You just gave me a great idea, I have a voice recorder on my phone, I could just talk into that about my dream. No need to write anything down at that time, no lights, I think that would work!! Wow that must be so interesting to see what you were dreaming back in 1999…have you been able to interpret them at all?

      Like

    • Not really interpret them. Just have all of them in scribbles and it’s fun to read every now and again. I have a few types into my phone that I need to transfer to paper.

    • I’m going to have to remember to do this, I have a journal that I dedicate just to my dreams. Have you found that your dreams have changed over the years? Are there any that you continue to have? Are there any objects in the dreams that appear in many dreams? I must get a dream book now!! hee hee πŸ™‚ How fascinating it is.

    • A couple scary ones–in one week, I dreamed I got shot twice. Woke up terrified. That was pretty horrible!!

    • See that’s why you need a dream book too. What happens in dreams is not what we think it is in the obvious. I just googled it and here’s what it says:
“guns represent dominance or a fight for survival and usually this pertains to lifestyle, social status or even career. Guns represent quick-to-action responses and defenses and depending on the type of gun or how many gunmen there are, the dreamer can determine the seriousness of the fight.” by Debbie Edwards on Knoji.com
It goes on to say more…but does that mean anything to you?

    • I don’t remember there being a gunman in one of the dreams. Just heard the POW and I jumped and was awake. And I don’t remember the other, is have to look at my scribbled note. It happened when I moved out of my boyfriends house; we broke up and I was staying in my sisters back apartment area. Until I found a place for me and to save money.

    • Ah so it was the end of a relationship, the finality of it. The subconscious mind is amazing…thanks for sharing Gretch!! πŸ™‚
