  1. That is lovely, Deb! I hope that all of our friends impacted by this storm are safe today.

    • My parents, my nephew and my sister are all being impacted. All had to evacuate. My parents are safe at my cousins further inland, my nephew and his family made it safely to a “hurricane” built house, and my sister who lives on a boat in Jacksonville went up to NC, we’re hoping her boat survives okay, we think it will. She just moved onto it a few months ago! I hope everyone else is safe too!! I really think this helped!! 🙂

  2. I just heard on the television that 478 have been killed in Haiti from Hurricane Matthew. That is terrible! I am grateful that people can get away from the storm and go to shelters for safety. I am also grateful for the hand of safety over those affected by Matthew. Good morning Deb! I hope you have a fantastic day! ((HUGS!!)) xoxoxo

    • Yes isn’t that sad. I am grateful that all of my family members were able to get to safety and that hopefully their homes are okay too. Good evening PJ! Well it’s Friday so that’s always fantastic!! Hope your day was outstanding too! ((HUGS!!)) xoxo 🙂

  4. Prayers for those in the middle of the storm. I am also grateful that God has put people in place already to help with recovery. I am wondering if maybe this is an opportunity for service in some way?

    • Thanks Faye! What a wonderful thought, now you have me thinking, how can we help? I’m waiting to hear from my parents as to when they can return back home. They had to evacuate and when inland to my cousins. Their home is without power and we’re waiting to find out when the power will be back and hopefully their home is not damaged.

    • Hopefully their home is fine. I know the feeling of being without power. Ours usually does that in the winter when an ice storm hits.

    • Yeah we’re New Englanders so we’re pretty hearty too! They arrived home this afternoon to no power. It’s 90 degrees and their hot, but their house was fine so that’s the good news. According to the power map their power will be restored on Monday, so tomorrow will be a long hot day!! Time to take in a movie or they were thinking of going to a sports restaurant for lunch so they can watch the Patriots play!! 😉
