  3. Going through a hard patch, and this was just right. And I ❀️ that telephone. My dad, great uncle, and a cousin worked for Bell System.

    • Oh I’m so sorry to hear that George, and I just talked to God about you the other day! I hope some relief comes your way real soon!! I’m so happy the telephone made you smile and brought back some memories for you too! Yeah remember when the Bell System was a big deal and it was such a monopoly! We had a Bell Company in the town I grew up in, it was a big deal!! Keep your chin up! xo πŸ™‚

  4. I am with Priceless Joy….my first thought was of Ding Dongs…those wonderful Hostess treats. It was fun to see the phone. My husband’s uncle worked for Bell telephone and he and his wife had a phone just like that in their bathroom…..just because they could.

  5. Oh Deb! these ding lings have gone and are things of the past. People use a lot of other ringtones.
But it is always better to call the loved ones and they have made letters vanish, which people used to write to their loved ones and those could be kept for long long years.
So today I am grateful for LETTERS.
