    • It will be, just set your focus in that direction, especially at night when you go to bed, forget about the day you just had and think about the wonderful day you’re about to have!! 🙂

  2. Hi Deb, I’m so grateful for the positivity that I feel around me at the moment, for good vibes and a great Zumba session today. Wishing you more sunshine and light my friend. xo

  4. Deb,
I am grateful for dark nights as I drive home from work and a not so crowded road to work today so I could reach work on time.

    • I have a hard time seeing in the dark now as my eyes have grown older, so I it’s rather stressful for me so I welcome the daylight with much gratitude!! I’m glad that you do enjoy driving in the dark and also that you had a not so crowded drive today!! 🙂

    • Deb,
I try to participate in the daily grateful post everyday- somedays I am hard pressed to find something to be grateful for and yesterday was perhaps one of those days- for us here, we watch the receding days of winter with trepidation and wish it would last longer as summer is extreme and very difficult to navigate.

    • Oh Susie you always write wonderful things, it’s the simplest of things we appreciate, like plumbing, hot water, heat. I understand now why you like the dark, it’s cooler. Funny, for me I look forward to summer, the longer days of sun and light and wish Winter were shorter…ha.
I love that you try everyday and I always look forward to and enjoy what you have to say…if you have nothing that’s ok too… maybe you could write that you’re grateful for nothing…hee hee!! Just kidding. xo

    • Deb,
From your posts, I understand there is something to be grateful, every day, even that colleague who gave you a hard time- or some incident where you were pushed hard to be unethical because that is the way, the world goes or to be cruel to an animal or ignore a person who needed help- there are so many things, if I would only look and your posts help me reflect on my daily life and in a way, keeps me accountable.

  6. I am grateful for air travel so I can come see my granddaughters. I am wishing I could stay longer! I am grateful that I have been able to retire so I could be with my dad for nine months before he passed away. I am grateful that I can now be a companion to my mother. But mostly I am grateful for the blood of Christ that washes me white as snow. And for the gift of the Holy Spirit!

    • You had a lot of catching up to do!! I love it. I’m sorry to hear about your Dad, but as we both know he’s now in a beautiful place where you will one day be together again. I look forward to the freedom of retirement so that I may spend my time as I please….have a wonderful visit with your granddaughters. How nice that you and your Mom can spend more time together and now that your older you appreciate her in a different way than when you were a child. I am thankful for God too!! In all forms. Thanks for sharing so many wonderful gratitudes!! Wishing you safe travels home. 🙂

    • Well you need to relax and refresh! Think of the memories you just gathered and put them in your mind’s treasure box to pull out at a later time to enjoy once again! 🙂

  7. That’s a good one! I always dread that time of year when I leave in the dark and come home in the dark. I can see clearly now. 😀 I’m grateful to be home in time to cook a good meal. ❤
