  1. Grateful for some great produce bargains at the market today. I see a messy kitchen in the offing. πŸ™‚

  3. I have so many oops, I can’t count them all. At first my oops hurt me and bled profusely, now, hardly at all. I guess I’m growing a thicker skin about them. Thanks for the reminder to embrace the oops in life. If not, we risk bleeding out about it! haha! Avoid the What IFs and the Should HAVEs … both are lethal to your Will DOs. Have a lovely day!

  4. I am thankful for reunions and goof ups from my mouth and foot in the mouths- though embarrassing, they bring my family closer. I know tomorrow will be a better day as the sharp corners of our lives get run down and the edges and rounded and smoothed once again. But the oops are good to remind us not to go there again and the what ifs are also good to make us take the risk if the need be, in the future.
I am thankful for every experience in life.

    • I like your interpretation of What Ifs…rather than thinking of it in the past tense “oh what if I had done that” your thinking of it in the future tense as in “what if I do that”. Yes every experience adds to the fabric of our lives. How’s your hubby doing? Well I hope. πŸ™‚

  5. I’m grateful I’ve lived long enough to experience these dang old hot flashes. And, I know how good it feels when it’s over.

    • Isn’t it amazing to go from 98.6 to 1000 degrees in an instant! Oh and the mood that comes with…get out of my way. When I’m home and can rip my clothes off I often do…off comes the sweater and I may even fling it across the room…oh that felt good, then off go the socks and they might follow the same path as the sweater…yeah that felt really good….and if no one’s looking I might even remove my pants or top and just stand there and wait…angry of course!!! And then once I cool down I have to go gather all my clothes and often I’ll start laughing at myself..cuz what else are you going to do. They had started to get a little better until the last few days…they’ve been like non-stop…for instance I’m starting one right now so hold on while I remove some clothing!!! OK thanks, no flinging this time, just removal of the socks and sweater…for now. πŸ˜‰

  6. Love this post Deb. I also have to say I got hung up on the comments about hot flashes. I laughed cause it was so true and it is better than crying! And yes I am grateful to have made it to the hot flash stage. I am grateful the doctor left me one ovary so I could go through that “normally” ….whatever that means LOL.

  8. My biggest mistake was on my timesheets. I had to turn them in last night, and there are chicken scratches on them.
