~ Song A Day Challenge Day 3 ~

I’ve been tagged by sweet Rob over at For friends without borders to play a musical game.  It’s a “Song a Day” challenge.  Thanks, Rob, I’m happy to play.  I’ll do my best to complete the five days.

(copied from Rob’s blog):
The rules are to post the lyrics of a favorite song five days in a row, explain what they mean to you (if you like) and add the video if available. I’m supposed to nominate two other bloggers but they should not feel obligated to do this. I know we’re all busy. Today I nominate:

Prabhat over at Dancing with Mosquitoes

Gretch of Everything and nothing. GM1123

This song reminds me of my sister.  We used to goof around and sing this, it was such fun!!

SISTERS, SISTERS
Rosemary Clooney, Vera-Ellen

Sisters, sisters
There were never such devoted sisters
Never had to have a chaperon, no sir
I’m here to keep my eye on her
Caring, sharing
Every little thing that we are wearing
When a certain gentleman arrives from Rome
She wore the dress and I stayed home
All kinds of weather
We stick together
The same in the rain or sun
Two different faces
But in tight places
We think and we act as one… uh-huh
Those who’ve seen us
Know that not a thing could come between us
Many men have tried to split us up but no one can
Lord help the mister
Who comes between me and my sister
And lord help the sister who comes between me and my man
