~ Song A Day Challenge Day 5 ~

I’ve been tagged by sweet Rob over at For friends without borders to play a musical game.  It’s a “Song a Day” challenge.  Thanks, Rob, I’m happy to play.  Here is Day Five.

(copied from Rob’s blog):
The rules are to post the lyrics of a favorite song five days in a row, explain what they mean to you (if you like) and add the video if available. I’m supposed to nominate two other bloggers but they should not feel obligated to do this. I know we’re all busy. Today I nominate:

Anyone who would like to participate!!

This song always touches my heart and I hope it puts a smile on your face.  Wishing everyone Happiness, Joy and Love…Oh What a Wonderful World!!  Now stop what your doing, sit back and enjoy.  xo

WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD
By Louis Armstrong
YouTube video by TheCatLadyJ

I see trees of green, red roses too
I see them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself what a wonderful world

I see skies of blue and clouds of white
The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night
And I think to myself what a wonderful world

The colors of the rainbow so pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces of people going by
I see friends shaking hands saying how do you do
They’re really saying I love you

I hear babies crying, I watch them grow
They’ll learn much more than I’ll never know
And I think to myself what a wonderful world
Yes I think to myself what a wonderful world
