  2. Love this quote Deb. Speaks of marching forward, hand in hand, determined to reach our goals and we will won’t we?
Tonight I’m grateful for the end of another week and being able to put my feet up.Keep smiling lovely lady xo

    • I was listening to Abraham and was inspired, as I usually am. I did think of us as I created it, thought the same thing. Yes we will reach our goals. I’m sure of it and believe in it!! So what are you up to today friend? Here’s my smile for you πŸ™‚ xo

    • I believe in it too Deb though I do stumble and doubt along the way. I think I need to hear Abraham this morning as I’m feeling quite low. My mouth is incredibly numb as I’ve just retuned from the dentist. Yesterday my tooth was excruciating again and I wondered what was going on. When I went in today she told me the bad news, I had another infection, just two teeth up from the other one she’s worked on. So the nerve had to come out and another crown has to happen as they start the process of rebuilding the tooth. If it wasn’t so close to the front I would’ve told her to pull it out but I really do want to keep my teeth for as long as I can! I was so upset I started to cry. It’s going to cost us a fortune, not much less than $6000.
So that’s me this morning Deb, feeling sorry for myself. But I have to pull myself out of it. There’s people worse off, I have to remember that. As Doug says “we’ll get through it, we’ll manage, we always do”. And he’s right, but f-*k, why does everything feel so hard right now?
Sorry, Debs, here I am going from wild party girl one weekend to one who’s crying at the drop of a hat this weekend. Silly me, but I’ll snap out of it. I need to take some of my own advice and focus on the positives and one big one is that it’s the weekend, my daughter’s 19th birthday (even though she’s not here but half way across the country) and I can relax and do what I want. Hope you’re relaxing too Deb and enjoying a lovely start to the weekend. Big hugs and much love from your sad swollen mouthed friend xo πŸ˜‘

Sending prayers that your mouth heals and the pain dissipates soon!! Hugs & love xo

  3. There to me is a happy place. Everything we do to get there is helping ourselves to get to a happy place. It reminds me to be happy where I am and I will always be “there.” Good morning Deb! I hope you have a fantastic day today! Yay! It’s Friday!! I have to take Sugar to the Vet to get her 2nd puppy shot today. For some reason they wait 2 weeks after the first shot to give the 2nd shot. Hmmm. ((HUGS!!)) xoxoxoxo

    • Oh PJ, I’m sorry I didn’t respond to this yesterday I saw it in the morning and when I got home last night I missed it. You caught the essence of this exactly…I’m so glad that your “there” is a happy place, my “there” is too!! Good morning (a day late) to you. My day yesterday was fantastic, thank you. Hope Sugar’s trip to the vet went well. Barney never seemed to mind getting shots, he never flinched. Maybe the medication of each needs to work without interference from another and that’s why they spread it out. I hope you have a sensational Saturday!! ((HUGS!!)) xoxo πŸ™‚

    • That’s okay Deb! Thank you! Sugar’s appt went very well. She weights 3 lbs. 15 oz. LOL! She didn’t even know she got a shot. So glad you had a fantastic day yesterday!

    • Awww so teeny tiny…how big will she get do you know? Yeah they don’t seem to mind shots at all…not like me! Lol..

      Like

    • She shouldn’t get much bigger but I don’t know what her size will be at this point. I don’t mind shots if they use those little bitty tiny needles that you can’t feel! Hahaha!

    • Lol, I’d prefer to drink it if possible!! hehe…Oh she’s going to be just perfect in size…you can carry her around in your pocketbook when you go grocery shopping…ha! Just kidding… πŸ˜‰

    • hahaha! I don’t think they make vaccines to put in shot glasses! LOL! I do remember before I even started school, my mom would take my sister and I up to the school house to get sugar cubes because the polio vaccine was in them. Do you remember taking polio vaccines in sugar cubes? Sugar is going to be small but I don’t know if she will end up being that small. It would be nice if she did!!

      Liked by 1 person

    • Well they should! HA I don’t remember the sugar cubes, but I’m sure I probably took them too. My father had polio and was cured of it. That would be so cute to carry Sugar in your bag. Just like Ellen from Legally Blonde…have you ever seen that movie with Reese Witherspoon? πŸ™‚

      Like

    • No, I have never seen that movie. Sounds cute. I do go into Petco and Home Depot with her in a bag (not my purse). She sticks her head over the top! LOL!!

      Liked by 1 person

    • Oh it’s a great movie! She has a teeny tiny dog, maybe a Chihuahua, and he goes everywhere with her…so cute!! And sticks his head out over the top like Sugar does. hehe

      Like

    • Sugar is suppose to be a Chihuahua but her mother was a Chiweenieh and her father a Chihuahua. She was the runt of the litter. She doesn’t much like being in the bag but puts up with it as long as she can stick her head out the top of it. Haha! She’s a MESS! I had no idea they were such “bitey” little dogs!

      Liked by 1 person

    • Oh my! I’ve never heard of a Chiweenieh before…no wonder she’s a mess!! hehe maybe they’re bitey because they are so small, it’s their only defense.

    • A Chiweenie is half Chihuahua and half Dashound. She goes to sleep in the morning, afternoon, and night in my arms with me rocking her. LOL! She is spoiled! I am going to send you a picture of her through email.

    • Oh, it’s a funny name. That’s so sweet though how she sleeps in your arms, so comforting!! πŸ™‚

    • Yes, I enjoy it but it gets tiring after awhile.

      Liked by 1 person

    • Oh, then put her down when you get tired so she can also get used to sleeping by herself.

      Like

    • Oh, I do. I put her down and let her sleep and finish up her nap. I just hold her until she falls asleep good. It does get tiring though. She is like having a toddler around. LOL!

      Liked by 1 person

    • Lol, yeah she’ll grow out of that maybe or maybe not. I can imagine it can be tiring, so much so that you might nap before she does! hehe πŸ™‚

    • The world is all new to her and she is curious about everything. But, the way she explores the world is with her mouth and teeth! I rock her to sleep every morning (I know, I need to stop that) but she is still a baby. I won’t be able to do that when she gets older.

      Liked by 1 person

    • No don’t stop rocking her, if it brings you pleasure then you rock her as long as you want to. Yeah they do explore with their mouths and teeth don’t they. Oh well. πŸ™‚

      Like

    • Oh yes, she sure does explore with her teeth. My hands and arms can attest to that. LOL! She is getting better though. She know, “don’t bite me.” She still bites me but at least she doesn’t bring blood now.

      Liked by 1 person

    • Lol, well no blood is definitely an improvement! hehe

    • I’m so glad your father was cured of polio! Hopefully he didn’t have any bad effects of the polio. My daughter-in-law’s mother had polio and she has one bad leg because of it.

      Liked by 1 person

    • Thank you. No remarkably he does not have any bad effects. They thought he would never walk again but somehow he recovered completely. Thank goodness and God for that!!

    • Yes, thank God for that! He is very lucky!
