  2. Wonderful words to read in the morning! Thank you!! I’m grateful for the support of others and small connections with strangers in the form of smiles, waves or short hellos. πŸ™‚

  6. I have had three bad falls in the last week. I’m not grateful for the falls, but I’m grateful that I have had only minor injuries!

    • Oh yay for the rain, so good for your crops! How are the girls, hope all is well with them!! Thanks Faye, I appreciate you’re kind words. xo

    • The rain was really welcome!
the girls are doing fine. I have 5 of them that are broody right now and spend the entire day sitting in nesting boxes, wanting to become moms (which is impossible as I do not have a rooster.) Eventually they will get over it.
And you are so welcome Deb, I love reading your blog.

    • Oh isn’t that funny. Females are so fickle. You should get them a rooster!! Hehe, then you could have fresh eggs for breakfast. It’s a win win. πŸ˜‰ Thanks Faye, I love reading your blog too. Have an adventurous day, lol.

    • Fortunately they do lay eggs without a rooster…they just aren’t fertilized so sitting on them will not get them chicks….no matter how determined those hens are!

    • Thanks so much. I treasure every nap he takes. Near my desk is good so I know if he quietly gets up and gets into trouble. And my daughter is a master at finding important things to do away from home. (Although she’s great when she’s here.)
“Bye Mom. Tucker’s asleep on my bed so I’m having lunch with Ashley. I’ll be home soon.”
I reply, “I’ll bet he wakes up before you get in the car. Yep. Here he comes down the hall.”
She squeals sweetly, “Hey baby boy. Let’s go potty.”
Afterward, he’s all mine again. Thanks for letting me talk. I’m the one who is tuckered out regularly.
