    • I’m glad your day ended nicely! Sorry about the hectic and crazy part in the beginning of your day. It has been a wonderful day for me! I spent 2 hours in the doctor’s office. Haha! (Not my favorite thing to do). You’re right, I would miss seeing my sweet neighbor if I didn’t have to water. Hahaha!

    • Oh sorry you had to sit in the Dr. office for 2 hours…ugh! Hope all is well!! xo
Yes we can’t forget your sweet, sweet neighbor. πŸ˜‰

    • I didn’t have to sit for 2 hours. I went back fairly quickly and saw the doctor but he put me through a regiment and wants to do injections in my back. I left and got home and they called me back to doctor’s office because they forgot to take XRays. I had to turn around and go back and get XRays. My daughter is having a fit because they want to do injections in my back and she is a nurse. Now I’m scared to get the injections. I have to go back to the doctor and get all the information about it and send it to her.

    • Oh so glad you didn’t have to sit for 2 hours!! I had a co-worker who get injection in her back…they worked well. It’s actually becoming quite common instead of performing back surgery, these injections seem to do the trick. She had to have injections done 3 times, but it was a vast improvement. Nice that your daughter is a nurse…she can also review the info from a medical point of view.

    • Yes, she can review the information and let me know. She said her husband had the injections and it really messed him up. Plus, They didn’t say if I needed someone to drive me home afterward. My sister isn’t talking to me so my daughter may have to come up and drive me home. She said I need to find out all that information.

    • Oh boy…well you certainly have to be careful when it comes to your back…perhaps a second opinion would be in order.
Uh oh, you’re sister’s not talking to you? Oh my.
My co-worker had to be driven home too.

    • Well, I was wrong. She just didn’t answer her phone all day. She just called me. A second opinion may be in order but most of the doctors here are all in cohorts with the hospital and they all work under the hospital.

    • Well I’m glad she isn’t mad at you!! hehe
Oh gee, that’s too bad about the doctors…

    • Yes, it really is. Going to another doctor would just be spinning my wheels.

  8. We had a rainy day here also! It made me feel kind of lazy and I didn’t seem to get much done! But that was a blessing also and something to be grateful for…..I am able to have a day like that once in awhile.

  9. What a gorgeous photo Deb, it looks so cosy there and I so agree that sometimes rain just soothes and cleanses the soul. Hope everything is good there Deb. Today I’m grateful for good neighbours and a cloudy overcast day which has kept me happily indoors. How’s your resident mantis doing? Big cosy hugs my lovely lady xo πŸ™‚πŸ’•

    • Yeah I really like the photo too…I actually got news last night that a good friend passed away Saturday. She was my realtor who helped my buy this place, she also lived on my street and we were friends too. I just saw her like two weeks ago. She was a lovely lady, she was 74 and I don’t know what happened yet…she was not sick so it was quite a shock to hear the news. I immediately felt “rainy, gloomy and sad” that’s actually what inspired that post. But I do agree, I love a rainy day too for cleansing the soul, relaxing the body, it’s like it allows you to slow down a bit.
Shiva is fine, I had a hard time finding him tonight. He had traveled to the grass…I put him back in the bushes as I am afraid he will get run over when they mow the lawn, which happens on Friday..so I’ll have to find him Thursday night and make sure he stays in the bushes. I’m actually off to bed now, wishing you a tantalizing Tuesday!! Big cozy hugs to you my sweet friend xo πŸ™‚

    • Oh Deb, I’m so sorry about your friend. I bet the news was such a shock, no wonder you felt rainy gloomy and sad. Well I’m sending you a big big hug of friendship and love. Hope her family is coping.
It sounds like Shiva is a bit of a traveller. You’ll have to keep an eye on him so he doesn’t wander too far. Definitely need to protect him from that lawn mower! Well you’re no doubt sleeping now. I hope you wake to a peaceful Tuesday. Big cosy hugs back xo πŸ™‚

    • It was, I was on Facebook and her best friend had posted a picture of her, my friend who passed is named Connie. Connie was holding her dog, Lady. And Judi (Connie’s best friend) wrote above the pic a beautiful message about how she will miss Connie when she was good news to share as she’s always the first to hear, and that she’ll miss Connie when she needs a laugh or a cry…etc. but she didn’t use her name she just wrote you…so at first it didn’t make sense to me and then I thought, did Lady die…and then I thought no it sounds as if Connie died….so I read some comments and that’s what they were saying…so I googled her obituary and sure enough there it was and it was going to be in the next day’s paper…I was shocked. I’ll be curious to find out what happened. (you were in my trash again, but just this comment)
Yes Shiva is a bit of a traveler, I can’t find him again tonight so not sure where he went off to now…hehe. I hope you are having a whimsical Wednesday as I settle into my Tuesday evening. Big whimsical hugs xo πŸ™‚

    • How very strange because someone that I know, not personally, but she was a breast cancer survivor who battled her entire life and proved to be an amazing inspiring woman, also passed away this week here in Melbourne. She was only 40 with a beautiful young family. Her name was Connie too. So sad.
Why am I in your trash I wonder? I think I’lm in a lot of trash buckets as my comments seem to be disappearing lately from a lot of posts. It’s very frustrating. Oh well. My Wednesday is shaping up to be a sunny day so I might get out and work in my garden later. Doug is off interstate for work again so it’s just Daniel and I home this week. More time for blogging for me which is nice. Enjoy your evening Deb. Big hugs to you xo

    • Oh that is sad too, so young. I don’t know why you are ending up in my trash, but you are not the only one. Last week a lot of people were like PJ, Shiva, Rob, Lisa, don’t know what’s going on.
How is Doug feeling? Is he all better? I hope so. Hope Daniel’s hay fever is better today. Yes it is nice that it frees you up to have more blogging time and garden time too!! Thanks Miri, gotta go create my post for tomorrow. Enjoy your Wednesday my lovely lady…big hugs xo πŸ™‚

    • Thanks Deb. Doug is ok, he still has a few issues and has ongoing medical appointments but he soldiers on, as men do. Daniel is fine too, the hayfever eased a bit today but it’s always there. We all just keep going don’t we, plodding along, doing what we have to do. And now I’m off outside for the afternoon. Big hugs xo πŸ™‚

    • Let’s plod along with intent and purpose….let’s take control and set our own plodding and not let the plodding control us!!! Now get out there and plod in your garden while basking in the sunshine!! πŸ˜‰ Big plodding hugs. πŸ™‚

    • Oh yes, plodding with purpose, absolutely. Couldn’t agree more and that’s what I’ve been doing, having a productive lovely day outside. Hope you wake to a beautiful Wednesday. Big hugs xo 😊

    • Sounds wonderful! This is gray and windy, it’s a tropical breeze as Hurrican Jose is going by. No rain yet just lots of wind, it’s warm so it feels fabulous blowing my hair all about! Enjoy your evening. Big hugs ☺ xo

    • Gosh there are a lot of hurricanes out your way. Hope that fabulous wind doesn’t get too ferocious. 😊 Enjoy it Deb, while I wind down for the night. xo Big hugs back

    • The Atlantic hurricane season is from June 1 to Nov 30…it’s seems to be picking up…there’s another one that just pummeled Puerto Rico and now it’s heading back toward the United States and up the east coast, expected to arrive here Tuesday. It’s usually much worse in the southern east coast of the US but we have had some bad ones. Hope you had a restful night’s sleep and are ready for your thrilling Thursday!! My turn to wind down for the night…and later it will be howling time and completing the setting of our intentions!! Big howling hugs…xo πŸ™‚

    • It’s windy here today too but definitely not hurricane force, thank goodness. In fact, it’s perfect weather for drying my sheets which I’ve just hung outside.
Happy relaxing and creating and setting those intentions with the moon. Enjoy it all. Big howling hugs back my sweet friend xo
