  2. That is beautiful! I probably won’t put up any decorations except my manger. If I had family coming I would definitely decorate for Christmas. But I don’t. I’m going to go visit my sister, go have lunch with my friends then my brother that lives here and I are going over to our sister’s apartment. He wants to see the damage. Good morning Deb! I hope you have a marvelous day today! ((HUGS!!)) xoxoxo

  4. Oh this is simply beautiful. I do embrace a good decorating spree for the holidays . I am Grateful today for good quality paint to redecorate the bedroom. All my best to you.

    • Thank you JoHanna, I’m with you on that decorating spree! Sounds like you are doing a little decorating yourself, painting the bedroom. What color did you pick? Was it easy or did it take you forever to decide. I have to see like all the colors in the hue I’m thinking of before I can decide…just have to be sure you know!! hehe…. Wishing you all the best too…and happy redecorating! πŸ™‚

    • I get lots of samples and put blocks of color all around the room and watch it in the changing light for a few days. Always so hard to decide and paint prices here prohibitive, so must choose wisely. Papaya Sorbet was the choice. Take care and have an excellent day.

    • You are very smart!! I did that too with the blocks of color…yes paint is not cheap! Ohhh I love the name of the color sounds yummy and gorgeous! Wishing you a colorful day too!! πŸ˜‰

  5. Wondering why we take them down. ???
We usually put the tree up the day after Thanksgiving along with some outdoor lights. This year we put up a tree on our lanai on Saturday and the bigger, indoor tree on Sunday. A few strands of outdoor lights and 2 wreaths are – well, they are in the garage! πŸ˜ŽπŸŒ΄πŸŽ„

  7. What an ideal sized tree; it doesn’t take too much storage space. Love it.

  8. Began a bit of decorating on Friday after Thanksgiving. I put up a tree in the dining room prior to Turkey day with a corn husk doll theme I have had for well over 35 years. Then a tree in bedroom, more lights then decorations, a nativity scene. Husband goes all out on the BIG tree in a weekend or so. He takes great patience and care to craft the lighting in such a way, it is outstanding. As a tradition, we decorate with family ornaments very close to Christmas Eve. I like to see the house awake to the season over the days leading up to the celebration.
