OUR DAILY GRATEFUL POST!

TODAY I AM GRATEFUL FOR THE OWL!

WHEN AN OWL SHOWS UP IN OUR LIFE PAY ATTENTION ~
THE WINDS OF CHANGE ARE IN THE AIR!!!
An owl is a symbolic representation of death…our life is about to transform to something new, important changes are taking place.
It’s the end of something and the beginning of something.  The owl appears to us when transition is near and will assist us in that transition.
Are you preparing for changes for which you are “in the dark” about, the owl, with its magnificent night sight, has come to guide you.
If you see more than one Owl…BIG CHANGES ARE ON THE WAY…pay heed to your intuition, listen to your inner self.
The Owl symbolizes Wisdom, Transition, Mystery, Intelligence, Mysticism, Messages, Secrets, Protection.
The time for the new you is NOW!
WHO?

what are you grateful for ~ please share…

Thank you!

  1. Grateful to have seen a bit of the super moon last night in spite of the clouds.

    • We had complete cloud cover last night, it was not bright enough to shine thru…the night before however…wow! I could have read a book out in my backyard at midnight!! Lol.

  2. OMG not one but two. The first one landed on the roof of my decking and the second one flew overhead. And do you know what else Deb, when I stepped outside my front door this morning a huge brown butterfly (just like the one that visited me in our van when we were camping) swirled around me.
Ooh goosebumps about the owls. It really does feel like I’m in the midst of some change but I guess we all are in a way aren’t we? Thanks for looking into the meaning. You’re amazing. Big hoot hugs xo 🙂💫

    • Wow hearing you tell the story I wish I was there with you, I see us jumping up and down, facing each other and holding hands yelling OMG OMG….hehe…hmmm wouldn’t it really be amazing if that was the same butterfly!!! Yes you are definitely going thru a transformation…we all are…but you planted your letter and “Hello Miri…this is the Universe…you wrote me a letter, here I am to answer your dreams and desires, now pay attention to my signs I send you” Oh when I looked it up I was…but of course!! Love it…big hoot hugs!!! xoxo

    • I feel as though I’m walking through a door of transformation Deb, I really do. Oh, wouldn’t that have been wonderful if we were really together, but of course in spirit you were with me. Yes, we’d be a couple of giggly girties. 😀 I’m writing this outside on my decking at the moment, the sun is shining, the birds are tweeting and every so often white butterflies keep fluttering by. Yep, I’m paying attention Mr or Mrs Universe lol 💫✨ Hope you’ve had a good day. Big hugs xo

    • Ohhh Deb, I’ve just burnt my guitar playing fingers, so badly. I was out in Doug’s garage about an hour ago helping him find a tool and I accidentally went to pick up a soldering iron, which was scorching hot. I got such a shock and it burnt my thumb and three fingers on my left hand. I had my hand under running water for nearly twenty minutes and Doug’s now put some soothing burn gel cream on it so I feel a bit numb. Thank God it wasn’t my right hand so I can still type on my phone to you, haha. I wonder what the Universe’s lesson in this is? Sigh. My first thought was “oh no, I won’t be able to play my guitar” but of course I will. It’ll heal.
So glad you have a three day weekend, that’s awesome. Yes, create away my talented soul sis, maybe you could write something about The Burning Pain, ha. Have a wonderful relaxing magical weekend. Big hugs xo 🙂

    • Ohhhh noooooooooo!! We have to get those hands insured!! Did you know Taylor Swift’s legs are insured for $20 million!!! What do you think your hands are worth….at least twice no three times that!! Oh dear…do you have any aloe vera plants around…if so take a stem, break it and put it on the burns, helps to heal them!! Oh boy that must have hurt! The first song that came to mind was Hunk a Hunk of Burning Love…hehe. The Universe’s message is stay out of Doug’s garage…lol! Oh I hope it heals fast and is not too painful…but in the meantime milk it for all it’s worth and get the boys to do all the cleaning and cooking for at least 3 days if not 4. I was thinking about writing a chorus for Masquerade and reworking that some…maybe I’ll work with that for now. Thanks my sweet burnt sista…wishing you a soothing rest of your weekend…Big healing hugs xo 🙂
p.s. don’t forget to call your insurance co. about your hands!! 😉

    • Haha, love it! Yes, the insurance company would really love me if I rang and added my hands to our ongoing claims and dramas! Yep, lesson learnt, stay out of the garage or at least away from his tools and don’t you worry about me. I’ll be milking it for a few days, well at least the weekend. They’re already taking over the kitchen which is fine by me. And tonight we’re going to his parents place overnight so there’s dinner and breakfast taken care of. Seriously though, it does hurt but I’ll be okay. No aloe Vera plants though maybe my mother in law has some in her garden. I’ll check later today.
As for our music, well what can I say? Once again we’re on the same wavelength. I was looking through our songs the other day and thought how much I loved Masquerade and how I’d love to revisit it. I love the way we both think so in sync. Go for it Debs. Go work your magic on those words. Incentive for these fingers to heal quick. Love you lots xo 🙂

    • Oh good sounds like you’re in good “hands” other than your own… 😉
I love that we are syncing again…time is right then…I just sent it to you…got inspired so I rewrote some of it…let me know what you think. Have a wonderful time tomorrow…we’ll talk soon. Great Big healing hand hugs xoxo 🙂 Off to bed for me. Nite

    • You’re amazing. I’ll go check my mail next. Yes, I’m in good hands tonight, thank goodness, the pain is intense right now. I’ll go read your song, that’ll sooth me. Big hugs back and sweet dreams beautiful you. Talk soon xo 🙂

    • I’m glad you are in good hands!! Hope you wake up to a less painful hand. It does sound as if you are at the perfect place…maybe sitting out in the country can give you reflection on the song or not, you’ll be too busy enjoying family as you should. I might tinker with it some more this weekend anyways, not sure I feel quite done with it, plus I want to listen to it some more too. Yes this is the fun part, well it’s all fun actually. Hope you were able to sleep well my lovely lady. Talk soon. Big soothing hugs xo 💖☺👋

  3. I love owls. We had them in town but not out here, which seems odd. One day I was riding my bike, cruising along slowly, and our neighborhood owl flew from a tree and cruised along beside me for about a block before lifting skyward and landing in a tall oak tree.

    • Oh wow that must have been so cool George!!! Were you afraid at all or did you feel a connection to him? Oh man, that’s so amazing….I’ve got goosebumps envisioning it!

    • Definitely not afraid. He was about 10’ away. I wondered what he was thinking. He was probably used to seeing me. I don’t think an owl would hurt you, would it? (No doubt they could if provoked.)

    • I don’t think in general an owl would hurt you, I see them as a calm, wise animal filled with a gentle disposition….Yeah I bet he was used to seeing you and decided hey today I’m gonna join George while he’s out riding…hope he doesn’t mind, looks like fun! 🙂

  4. We don’t see any owls out here. I guess that means we don’t have any owls. I will look it up in Google and see if we do. I certainly never see them out here. They sure do have a wonderful meaning. Good morning Deb! I hope your day today is fabulous. ((HUGS!!)) xoxoxo

    • I’m so glad your day was fabulous! My day was inspiring! I did look it up on Google and any owls we would have our higher up where the trees are taller and where there are cliffs and rocky terrain. I have never seen one but I haven’t been looking for them when I have been in the mountains.
