About

Hi, I’m Deb.

Thank you for stopping by. I hope you find inspiration, comfort, and laughter while here.

Having a positive attitude is not always easy and those pesky negative thoughts some how sneak their way into our brains. We must practice to control our thoughts and not let our thoughts control us. Repeat after me ~ I am in control of my thoughts. Repeat often.

Life is all about ups and downs and we all have our share. If we learn to be grateful for everything, good and bad, it changes our lives in the most magical way. Think of “bad” things as lessons and figure out what the lesson is.

Ahhh menopause…all I have to say about that is…REALLY? Actually I do have more to say. It’s incredible what menopause chemicals do to our bodies. For instance, I can heat up faster than a microwave, I can make my happy-go-lucky self disappear faster than Houdini, I can weep more tears of water than Niagara Falls and we could be talking about Niagara Falls!!! Oh dear there is so much to say on this subject.

I’m grateful if you have continued to read this far…I wish you the most imaginative, creative and blessed day!!

Love,
Deb

  10. I stumbled on your blog and so pleased I did, as a fellow perimenopausal women going through the hormonal roller coaster or ‘BIG DIPPER’ as I like to refer to it I hear you and understand there’s a lot to say about the subject of menopause. I’m so looking forward to reading more about your journey.

  15. Hi Deb, I’m glad I stumbled over your blog. I’m 51, so have been having hot flashes for about a year… great name for a blog : )
I’m here in Australia, writing about similar subjects, including short funny anecdotes from my teenage son; I hope you have time to wander over and wander around…
I look forward to following along, best wishes, G

    • Hi G, thanks for stumbling by. I will definitely wander over!! Yes when I first started my blog I was planning to write more about menopause and the episodes and then it sort of morphed into my daily grateful post…I’m happy to see you read my Hot Flash Mania…they really happened and I sat down and wrote that right after I recovered from being manic!!! I really didn’t have a knife…hehe. Good luck with your hot flashes, I’ve been having mine for about 6 years now…they are a bit better but still hanging around. I have several very dear friends who live in Australia that I have met right here, and two of them have met up and become friends. We have plans to one day meet…I plan to fly there as I’ve always wanted to go to Australia. I’ll let you know when I book my flight!! πŸ˜‰ Thanks again for the follow and I’ll be by soon.
