FFfAW Challenge 41 ~ NATURE’S DREAM

NATURE’S DREAM

I have read many articles that encourage people to turn to nature to benefit from the therapeutic value it offers, so I did.

After several hours of listening to the wind dance thru the trees, the birds serenade and soothe me, the rays of the sun bathe me in love, I fell asleep.

My dream was a vivid one, not to mention colorful.  Freud or Jung, I’m not sure who, would have a field day with me.  Red, my passion cheered me on to follow her, Purple, my creativity waved and encouraged me to continue to learn about her, Blue explained that yes sometimes there is sadness in life but I will pass, and finally Yellow beamed at me and said I am your inner light show me to the world often!

Upon awakening, not only was my body refreshed but so was my soul…I skipped and sang all the way home!

Hurry up Harold they’re all waiting for us…well me really…but come along without you this can’t happen.

Will you look at me?  Aren’t I just stunning, could I be anymore beautiful?  Harold?  Harold!  Keep up will you!

Running down this hill takes a little negotiating and I don’t want to get a single speck of dirt on me.  Do you know what it’s like to get a mud spot off…no you don’t, do you?  Look at you, you could be covered in mud and no one would even notice.

Harold are you listening to me?  Well after today you’ll be listening to me for the rest of our lives…for better or worse, right?  Right Harold?

C’mon now don’t dawdle, it’s not everyday you get to marry the most angelic peacock in the world!!!  You lucky guy, you!

HA!  Fifteen, I can’t believe it, fifteen!!  Phew, that’s a record and I know it is because I looked it up.

I don’t know how we did it but we did.  They said it could not be done, no way, no how!

We practiced and practiced until we figured it out.  It was like twisting a balloon dog together.  Boomzee was brilliant, she sketched it out and created the order and whamo bamo worked like a charm.

First Noodles, for obvious reasons, then Shorty, Squishy, Wiggles, Lulu, Yobo, Jingles, Milo, Ditzo, Binky, and the final layer of Chubby (but he lost weight for this), Dimples, Boo Boo, Pepe and Boomzee.

Yup that’s fifteen alright…fifteen clowns fit in a car!  Look it up, we’re in the Bozo the Clown Book of World Records!!!

fffaw38Thank you Sonya-Only for this week’s photo prompt

Wow!  This is chilling.  I don’t know what to make of it.  There are so many of them, this is unbelievable.  What does it mean?  Most of them look so innocent but this last one, the eyes are piercing.  It’s looks like an old man with a beard and he is NOT smiling.  The one to the right is a profile looking up or at the angel.  Above “him” there is one looking down, this one does seem to be smiling, “connected” to him looks like a man who is laying on his back looking straight up.  I see three all together at the top center.  It seems the longer I focus on them the more I see.

But “you” to the left with the piercing eyes, a goatee and large forehead, what or who are you looking at?

Who are they, all these faces?  Are they really in the clouds?  Can you see them as well?

Flash Fiction for Aspiring Writers – The Decision

fffaw2

Should I or shouldn’t I?  Dare I or don’t I?  What can they say?  What do I care?  If I want to do this then I should.  It’s harmless, right?  I don’t see anything wrong with it, who would object?  Hmmm will I get in trouble?  I don’t think trouble is the proper word.  Will it be frowned upon, but again I’m not harming anyone or anything.

Why do I care so much about what others might say or think?  I should live my life the way I want to and be true to myself, right?  I cannot believe how much anxiety this is causing me, I’m exhausted.

If I want to wear this costume to work for Halloween then I will!

Happy Halloween Everyone!!!
🙂

METAMORPHOSIS

I know I told Pillar that I would come straight home, she even asked me, “Mommy you won’t be late will you?”, “No Pillar I won’t be late”, but it is a gorgeous day and I have been anxious to try this organic nectar.  The fragrance alone is intoxicating.  I shall take a sip, mmm mmm, this is as delicious as I expected.  A fresh, robust sweetness of honey and a slight hint of lemon, tremendous!

It’s a shame Pillar is unable to delight in this nectar, ah but her day will come.  I can already see the changes in her, all wrapped up in her little cocoon world!!

Will you look at that, I have drunk it dry.  It is getting late, I have lingered long enough, after all Pillar is waiting, if I don’t get back I may not even recognize her.
