~ 2016 Year of the Change, Step 6 ~

MAKE A STATEMENT!

  1. Write down on a separate piece of paper the first goal you wish to achieve, be precise.
  2. Set a date by when you will accomplish this goal.
  3. Create a concise plan that will help you reach your goal.
  4. Begin today putting your plan into action.
  5. Read your goal aloud each morning and each night, read it as if you have already achieved it.

Here is an example:

~ 2016 Year of the Change, Step 2 ~

Laying the Ground Work – It’s All in Our Attitude and Spirit of Approach toward Our Goals

Print this poster or write down the saying on a piece of paper and post it where you can read it aloud each morning.  It would be super if you could post it near a mirror and recite it as you look at yourself in the mirror.  Repeat this to yourself numerous times throughout the day, every day.

It does not matter how many times you have failed in the past, take possession of your mind and direct it toward the goal(s) you want to achieve.

On Page 1 of your journal you wrote down your goal(s).  On Page 2 write down the saying above and list a few ways that you can contribute back to life, for life giving you what you want.  For example, perhaps you could give of your time, volunteer somewhere, donate clothes, food, toys, blankets for pets at animal shelters, etc.  Whatever you may think of, write them down.

We are a step closer to achieving our goals.

~ 2016 Year of the Change, Step 1 ~

Feel free to join me in my journey into 2016 Year of the Change.

Step 1, keep a journal.  It can be a physical journal or an e-journal, whichever you prefer.  I like the physical journal as I like to hold it, write my thoughts in it and flip back and forth thru the pages as I wish.

journal1On the first page write 2016 Year of the Change.

Followed by I believe in me.  I have faith in me.  I trust me.

Finally list goals that you would like to accomplish.  They can be anything; exercise, learn how to paint, write a book, learn to sing, volunteer, seek a new career.  You can list one or as many as you would like.  Once you’re done, rewrite the list in order of importance to you with the first one being the most important goal you would like to accomplish.

You’re done with Step 1 and on your way to achieving your goals!!  Congratulations!!!
